Hi,
I used to have the fattest stomach. I found out that what I needed was both training strategies and nutritional strategies in order to reduce belly fat fast, but not just one or the other.
I have found that the exercise techniques that you use are of paramount importance for getting a flat stomach fast, because some exercise techniques are far more effective than other techniques. It is also my experience that the types of foods that you eat really makes a huge difference in any belly fat loss program that you're on, but not just how much food you eat. For example, some fats are really healthy for you such as cold pressed oils and extra virgin coconut oil, while other oils such as hydrogenated and other much processed oils are bad for your health and bad for losing belly fat.

Here's a good site I found that really helped. It gave me great workouts and diet tips
and showed me what I was doing wrong before...

Good luck to you!

Country Captain Chicken

Recipe for country captain chicken with raisins, curry, bacon, almonds, and green pepper.

1 broiler chicken, about 3 pounds, cut in parts
4 slices bacon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
3/4 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 green bell pepper, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups fresh tomatoes, chopped
2 teaspoons Madras curry powder
1/2 teaspoon thyme leaves
1 cup chicken broth, hot
1/2 cup currants or raisins
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1/2 cup slivered toasted almonds

In Dutch oven or deep frying pan, cook bacon until crisp.

Remove bacon to paper towels to drain; crumble and set aside.

Add chicken parts to the pan; cook for about 15 minutes, turning, or until browned. Sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon of pepper; transfer to an ovenproof dish and keep warm.

To pan drippings, add celery, onion, bell pepper, and garlic; cook, stirring, until onion is transparent, about 5 minutes. Add tomatoes, curry powder, thyme and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer for about 10 minutes.

Place currants in a small bowl, pour hot chicken broth over them; let stand for 20 minutes or until plump.

Return chicken to the pan; cover and cook for 20 minutes.

Add currants and broth; cover and cook for another 10 minutes or until chicken is done. Sprinkle with parsley, crumbled bacon and toasted almonds. Serve on rice.

============================

Orange Chicken Curry
Serves 4 – 6

This is one of my husband's favorite dishes; he requests it for his birthday dinner every year. Try it soon!

1/2 cup flour
2 Tablespoon curry powder
1 Tablespoon olive oil
2 Tablespoon butter
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1" pieces
1 green bell pepper, cut into 1" pieces
1 yellow bell pepper, cut into 1" pieces
1 onion, chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup water
3/4 cup orange juice
1/2 cup heavy cream (you can use evaporated milk)

Chutney
Hot cooked rice
Currants
Toasted Coconut
Cashew pieces

In a shallow plate, mix flour and curry powder. Toss chicken pieces in this mixture to thoroughly coat.

Heat large heavy skillet over medium high heat. Add oil and butter and let melt. Sauté chicken in this mixture until lightly brown, stirring frequently.

Add peppers, onion, salt, water, and orange juice. Cover and simmer over low heat for 10-15 minutes until chicken is thoroughly cooked.

Add cream and cook and stir until heated. Serve over rice with all the accompaniments.

==========================

Chinese Sauteed Green Beans
Yields: 4 servings

1 tablespoon less-sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
2 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
12 ounce green beans, trimmed
Kosher salt
1 tablespoon minced garlic

Combine the soy sauce, honey, and 1 tablespoon water in a small dish and set near the stove. Set a shallow serving dish near the stove, too.

In a 10-inch straight-sided sauté pan, heat the butter with the olive oil over medium-high heat. When the butter is melted, add the green beans and 1/2 tsp. salt and toss with tongs to coat well. Cook, turning the beans occasionally, until most are well browned, shrunken, and tender, 7 to 8 minutes. (The butter in the pan will have turned dark brown.)

Reduce the heat to low, add the garlic, and cook, stirring constantly with a heatproof rubber spatula, until the garlic is softened and fragrant, 15 to 20 seconds. Carefully add the soy mixture (you’ll need to scrape the honey into the pan). Cook, stirring, until the liquid reduces to a glazey consistency that coats the beans, 30 to 45 seconds.

Immediately transfer the beans to the serving dish, scraping the pan with the spatula to get all of the garlicky sauce. Let sit for a few minutes and then serve warm.

Angel Food Cake

You can slice it lengthwise and add some custard inside and top it with fresh strawberries and whipped cream.

It's kind of a pain, but weight loss happens proportionately all over your body, so even if you just target your tummy area, you'll lose the fat equally all over your body (despite what some commercials or phony weight loss websites will tell you).

The best and fastest way to lose weight (other than through diet) is to up your cardio! That can be taking a brisk walk, or jumping rope... anything to get your heart rate going. A gym is really great for that. It might feel awkward at first, but by watching people you can see the types of exercises they do, and anything that gets your heart going is going to burn up the fat. That includes sex!

Good luck!

Ok diet-wise, consume 6-8 small meals a day, not 3 medium main meals.

For excercises, on your first week do situps-crunches-reverse-crunches-bicyclese-oblique crunches in sets of 10 for 20 minutes, no rest in between (helps you lose fat). Week 2 ramp it to 12 reps for 25 minutes. Week 3/4 do 20 reps for 25 minutes, week 5/6 do 25 reps for 30 minutes.

Is it hard? H*ll yeah, but stick with it.
