Really depends on what you are doing by “working out”
If you are doing more running, and moving the body. you will lose up from 1-3 pounds a day depending on your metabolism.
Also drink more than 8 cups of water a day, this will help you boost up your metabolism.
Do not work too hard, and don’t weigh your self on a scale. The reason is because you can be gaining muscles, if you are lifting weights. Just kind of keep a personal journal on photos, and within a month you see results from the picture of day one..
I lost 40 lbs in 4 months which is roughly 2.5 lbs a week lost by running 45 minutes 5 days a week. No change in diet & strictly just running. What I’ve learned since then is water is amazing & running is still the best exercise out there! It’s free & you can do it anywhere!
