That’s the problem with this country, unless you’re rich, you don’t get shit for insurance!!!!!!!!
The asian pitcher used ancient chinese magic to curse the black kid.

After reading your comment, I was laughing so hard that I LITERALLY fell out of my chair. XD
But seriously, you’re an idiot.
can you say, “baaaaaaaaa” for me once, sheepy? C’mon…
we have one the worst health care systems in the developed world. why do u think whenever a free health clinic comes to town for a one stop in each city a day the line is around the corner for about a mile? people are still turned away at these free clinics because they close and move before everyone in line can get treatment. if you have good money or a job with benefits, thats great. but a lot of people don’t.
You have to admit, though, that Heche did a great job with the role…at first, like here, you want to just strangle her for how cold and heartless she is. But then there is the scene where she informs Mrs. Archibold that her son is on the list and, as Mrs. A did, she hugged her…and I wanted to reach in and hug her as well for basically saying “Screw the insurance. This boy is being saved”
What she’s saying is to make it as happy as possible…she knows this is tough and not happy but to at least try and make him feel comfortable rather than worried and fearful of dying…basically, her point was to keep him occupied with happy thoughts so reading him a story, bringing him toys, etc.
It’s not so much the hospital but the insurance companies…I agree that Heche’s character was cold, in her first scene, but she turned around and made you root for her when she put his name on the list. However, there was nothing she could do-it’s all on what the insurance allows. But I would have also advised him what to do, such as file for a grievance, check with Human Resources, and go to bat for him to get that payment to save him. Thankfully, Heche became more sympathetic
please tell me im not the only one that cried during this movie
fuck damm that doctors
trust me there is
Wtf? I seriouslly hope theres no hospital that useless and cold out there
