i will pray 4 u

I suffer from manic depression as well as social anxiety disorder and general anxiety disorder. Unfortunately Im an Aussie girl who is right now living in a small town here in the US.
Not only do I not have my own family and friends from Sydney, but my husband has no contact with his family and we have no friends here. I also don’t drive so can’t leave the house much.Long story short, its a great hinderance to my weight loss goals.
You are a very big inspiration to me along with the other girls

i love you :D

shit, i’m sorry for everything, hope u get well soon, my mum suffers from stuff like that xxxx

i’ve never suffered from depression so there probably is nothing i can say to help you out w/ that but i can say that ur videos are great u are probably the one that i look forward to hearing about! your links are very helpful they definately make me feel better about sitting on the computer because i at least feel like i’m looking at something that can help me out. so thank you and hope all goes well!

Thanks for the links. :)

is there maybe a free or very cheap clinic in your area?

I know that I personally usually start thinning out in areas like losing inches before i lose weight in pounds.. when you’re building up muscle like you would be with your running it tends to weigh more than fat. but you definatley look amazing jenna! Keep up the good work!

i actually have! and the best part is that for me yoga really helps to fight depression.
you can use torrents to completely legally download “Crunch Yoga”, wich is more of a weight loss class inspired by yoga, or fat free yoga, again the same but in a very different style. i feel really better after doing some yoga, not cured but i think it helps control my mood. i think it has a lot to do with the breathing exercises.
Good luck with that!

Unfortunately, I cannot suggest any books/DVDs. I just take classes…I’ll look some up though, to maximize my helpfulness.

Im with ya on the depression, it sucks. I do a similar plan to that with the running (couch to 5k) and i get the same thing with my calves, where they feel like theyre gonna burst out of my skin! sucks so bad…

It may sound weird, but I <3 ya, Jenna! I see alot of myself in you.

I’ve suffered from depression all of my life. I had bad luck w/meds & so I don’t take anything for it. The worst definitely is when people ask what you’re sad about. You just feel down even if there may be no single reason for it. I know EXACTLY how you feel.

I’m proud that even though you’ve been feeling down that you’re working out. That’s awesome.

I hope the funk you’re in passes soon. I hate to see ya down. xoxo

I know you’ve been depressed lately and I wish I could do something to make you feel better. You’re looking beautiful as always, and I know you will start to feel better soon. I love you. Let me know if you need anything EVER.

I am so sorry you suffer from depression. I have suffered from it in the past when it was chronic, now it comes and goes. I have to say, looking at all of your videos, it looks like you’re doing an awesome job managing depression and living with it. You always look so positive, energetic and full of life in all of your videos. When I get depressed I can’t do anything- and here you are exercising, finding links for us and making videos.. you really inspired me to exercise and stop drinking soda!

i’m sorry to hear that, but hope it’s making you feel better. make sure you are open and honest in counseling to get the most out of it. i know people who go and just bs there way through it to get out of there and never heal.

i’ve dealt with depression since i was 11 and my worst years were around 13 through 17, so right around your age.

exercise is something that i have to force myself to do, there’s no other way haha.a

thanks, don’t worry, i’ll get through it.

thank you

yeah, the insensitive comments only make it worse. it’s good to have a friend who has been through it or is going through it too to confide in. helps make you feel less crazy.

i’ve been medicated in the past and that was a disaster for me. i don’t have health insurance currently, so i’m on my own, but i can get through it. i’ve been dealing with it for a LONG time.

are there any yoga dvds or books you would recommend?

thank you :)

i hate insensitivity like that ugh!

yeah, i think if i tried to do it in 8 weeks, i would just give up. i think repeating a few of the weeks and even modifying the times will be a better routine for me, and others too.

thank you :)

that’s so true! people can be so dense sometimes, it’s hard to deal with.

i have a great support system in my fiance, so i know i’ll get through the rough patches. i am SO MUCH better off now than i was a few years ago. like night and day, seriously.

thank you, i’m glad you like seeing me :)
let me know how the exercising goes for you! i hope you can stay motivated!

thank you, my dear <33
